Web design and development services in India
I am a freelance web designer and web developer in India, based in Delhi. I work remotely with businesses, professionals, brands and individuals across India. This page explains exactly how that works.
How a remote project works
Seven stages. You see and approve the work at each one before the next begins.
Discovery
We talk by phone, video call or WhatsApp. I ask about the business, the customers and what the website must achieve, and you can ask me anything.
Planning
You receive a written scope: the pages, the features, what I need from you and the order of work. Nothing starts until we agree on it.
Design
Designs arrive as links you can open on your own phone and laptop. You respond with notes, a voice message or a call, whichever is easiest.
Development
I build on a private preview address, so you can watch the real site take shape and click through it as it grows.
Testing
I test on multiple screen sizes and browsers. You test on the devices you and your customers actually use, and send anything that looks off.
Launch
The site is connected to your domain. If you do not have a domain or hosting yet, I will guide you through getting them in your own name.
Support and handoff
You get access to manage the site, a walkthrough of any admin panel, and a direct way to reach me after launch.
What makes remote work well
India runs on a single time zone, so there is no juggling of hours. A client in Kochi and a client in Guwahati are both simply a call away during the working day.
Website work also suits distance naturally. The thing being made lives in a browser, so the best way to review it is on your own screen, in your own time, on the phone your customers will use. A meeting room adds very little to that.
What does matter is clear communication. I keep scope, feedback and decisions in writing so that neither of us has to rely on memory.
Communication and delivery
One point of contact. You deal with me from the first call to launch. There is no account manager in between and no handover to a different developer.
Updates you can see. Progress is shared as working links, not status reports. If something is half-built, you can open it and see exactly how half.
Feedback in your own way. Written notes, a marked-up screenshot, a voice message or a call all work. I consolidate them into a single list so nothing is missed.
Delivery. At launch you receive the live site on your domain, access to anything you need to manage, and a walkthrough. Support after launch is agreed per project.
Cities with their own page
For a few large markets I have written a separate page on what businesses there typically need from a website. Everywhere else works exactly the same way.

Questions about working remotely
Is a remote project slower than working with a local designer?
In my experience, no. Feedback on a shared link is usually quicker than arranging a meeting, and everything is written down, so less gets lost.
How do payments and agreements work at a distance?
The scope and payment stages are agreed in writing before work starts. Specific terms depend on the project and are set out in the proposal.
What do you need from me to begin?
A description of your business, any existing branding such as a logo and colours, the content or a rough idea of it, and examples of websites you like or dislike.
Who owns the domain and hosting?
You do. I recommend that domain and hosting accounts are registered in your name, with access shared with me for the build.
Wherever you are in India
Send a message describing your project and I will reply with next steps.
